One Way Street

One Way Street is my thesis project for my MFA degree from the Department of Media Study at UB. It constitutes a five year investigation into the work of the 20th Century German cultural theorist Walter Benjamin. Working through the lens of his writings I have constructed a media pastiche of five vignettes consisting of films and videos that represents his discursive and proleptic practice by attempting to create a dialogue amongst his 20th Century observations and the cultural conditions of the 21st Century.
